The Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway is Polk Counties most enjoyable family tourist attractions. Steam locomotive #328 was built in 1905 for the Northern Pacific Railroad. It was retired to the Stillwater Yard in 1955. Then the Minnesota Transportation Museum restored it and in 1994 a First Class Car war added for passengers.
Now you can board the train at the historic Osceola Depot, just off Hwy. 35 at the Osceola bridge, for a 45 or 90 minute ride to the past. Round trip to Dresser, WI or to Marine on the St. Croix, MN.
